LIFE ON MISSION

Sounds like work!

Life on Mission means that Your life on God's Mission is our top priority for every student who has trusted Christ as their Savior.  Just because you've put your faith in Christ doesn't mean the story of your life or God's work in your life is over.  Now it's go time!  Our missional small group is here to serve and equip you to show the love of Jesus to people in a practical way and to tell them about the love of Jesus in practical language and conversations.  So let's learn from each other, share our victories and defeats, and press on with our mission. Check out more information about this group below and as always don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have.

DATES AND TIMES:

The Missional Small Group will be meeting every Thursday from 5:30-7:00pm at the First Baptist Church.  This is an open group that anyone who is serious about living out their faith can come to.  WARNING: This group is about 'Doing Hard Things'.  It won't work for lazy Christians. 

WHAT ARE WE STUDYING?  We are currently doing the "Outflow Student Journal".  Our lives were made to be an outpouring of God's love our world around us.  If you want to join the group and study along with us, ask Brandon for a book and he'll get you started.  

 OUTREACH ACTIVITY

Our "Good Morning, Have a Burrito" was a huge success.  We served over 150 breakfast burritos to high school students and teachers on Friday May 15.  We wanted to show God's love in a practical way.
