The goal of YA Ministry
To build a like-minded community to encourage one another towards maturity in their love for Christ and others.
Our Guiding Scripture Passage
"...to equip the saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness. Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit. But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head—Christ. From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part."
- Ephesians 4:12-16
Our Groups
Currently we have two small groups on offer for Young Adults
Prayer and Community Group for Young Adults
Katrina Wilden hosts a prayer and community group for young adults! This is a time to gather together, talk about life, eat snacks, and pray. This is designed for young adults to build community with other believers in Siskiyou County, by providing a place to share all the wonderful things God is doing in each of their lives.
Young Adults Study Group
Tim VanDeWalker facilitates a small group that goes through Christian literature and discusses the content and how it applies to our walk with Christ. Currently we are going over the book "Gentle and Lowly". We will be listening to the audiobook, so there is no need to worry about having to read the chapters in advance!
If you would like to join us, click the button below to sign up for our WhatsApp chat! This is the best place to get updates on these groups alongside other events!
